Western Romanian Branch of the Society for the German Language (GfdS – Wiesbaden/Berlin)

The Society for the German Language (GfdS) is an association for the popularization and research of the German language that is supported by the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs of the Länder in the Federal Republic of Germany (KMK) and the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media. The GfdS has established about 100 branches in Germany and all over the world.

The Western Romanian Branch is the second GfdS branch in Romania after the Bucharest Branch. It organizes two public lectures per year for those interested in the German language.
